abstract
Using different basis set expansions, the electronic state of the target molecular gas, electron scattering calculations for the e-SF6 system from a few meV of collision energy up to about 100 eV was described. The computation yielded elastic angular distributions of the scattered electrons over several values of collisions energies. All the obtained differential cross sections were compared with existing experiments and good agreement was obtained.
