  • Timing errors caused by the propagation of the LORAN‐C pulses over finitely conducting earth are investigated. The results show that timing errors of 1–4 μs could be expected due to 100‐ to 400‐km propagation over finitely conducting ground. Copyright 1989 by the American Geophysical Union.
