abstract
Using version 19 Halogen Occultation Experiment (HALOE) data, we estimate the abundance of water vapor entering the stratosphere [H2O]e is 3.800.49 ppmv averaged over 1993-1997. The average of all of the recently published estimates of [H2O]e is 3.85 ppmv, which we believe is the best estimate of [H2O]e. Copyright 1999 by the American Geophysical Union.
