abstract

  • A pcARC/INFO macro system was specifically developed to assist conservation planners develop farm conservation plans and manage agricultural and natural resources. The project represents a cooperative effort between GEOCODE Inc., the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Remote Sensing and GIS Laboratory, and Dunn County's Land Conservation Department. The software system is modular in design and provides users with processing flexibility. The system was evaluated by the Land Conservation Department and local county conservationists. The automated system has been widely accepted. Its use will improve the way local agencies make management decisions about natural resources. -Authors
