  • Abstract

This chapter covers the most fundamental form of spatial analysis, which is combining layers of points, lines and polygons to identify possible associations. The authors work through a detailed example that assesses pesticide exposure in California's Central Valley, starting with layers of population, crop, pesticide and climatological data.
