abstract
The crystallinity effects on the intercalation of Monpamine in Zirconium Phosphate Layer Structure were investigated. A model of intercalation of ZrP was proposed, which can also be applied to the intercalation of other compounds also. It was observed that it is not necessary prepare highly crystallized materials for intercalation and ion exchange. The results show that while preparing layered-compound-based nano-composites intercalation, both crystallinity and intercalation can be used to control the properties.
