  • The effect of heat treatment on the characteristics of thermoelastic martensitic transformations, the shape memory effect, and superelasticity in Ni54Fe19Ga27 (at. %) single crystals with the [001] orientation was investigated. It was established that annealing increases the mechanical hysteresis, temperatures, and temperature range of transformations; changes morphology of martensitic crystals; and reduces superelasticity. 2007 by Allerton Press, Inc.
