abstract
The present work focuses on the microstructural evolution and resulting room temperature mechanical properties of Ti-6A1-4V and Ti-6Al-4V/TiC reinforced composite, severely deformed at different temperatures (550C to 800C) using Equal Channel Angular Extrusion (ECAE). The effects of the extrusion temperature and number of passes on the microstructural evolution and ambient temperature mechanical properties were investigated.
