abstract
The Texas A&M University has included Nanoscale Issues in Manufacturing as an attempt to incorporate materials on nanotechnology throughout four-year engineering curricula. The level of detail and sophistication of the material taught will increase as the scientific understanding of the students increases through their undergraduate career. The envisioned curricular change has four components corresponding to four years of undergraduate engineering. At each level concepts related to manufacturing at the nanoscale is introduced at the appropriate technical level, with special attention to pedagogical approaches.
