abstract
Nine different protocols of DNA attachment to glass were tested and assayed for 1) attachment capacity of probe DNA, 2) hybridization capacity, and 3) hybridization specificity using homologous and non-homologous target DNA. Data suggests that Telechem Aldehyde slides produce the best overall results and that optimization of microarray sensitivity, dynamic range, and comparative hybridization accuracy, depends heavily on attachment chemistry, and DNA concentration of the printing solution.
